Cattiva animation bug in Palworld fascinates players

Palworld players are loving a clip showing a Cattiva experiencing a bug that helps him become a truly terrifying force.

Palworld’s many Pals each come with their own designs and sizes, which remain fairly stable throughout the game.

However, from time to time, the game’s Early Access state may cause issues with a Pal’s appearance.

This led to a bug making itself known in the Palworld community, causing a Cattiva to grow incredibly large and unleashing terror.

Palworld players love the bug causing the Cattiva to grow insanely

The clip was shared on the Palworld subreddit in a post titled: “Being defeated by a Cattiva was a great shame, they said…”

In the clip itself, we see the player’s Cattiva model start to glitch while flying in a circle, while growing, rising into the air and throwing fireballs around itself.

Eventually he grows to a giant size, at which point he unleashes a flurry of claw attacks on the Anubis he is fighting, knocking him to the ground in record time.

The entire situation in the video caught the attention of Palworld fans, who love the absurdity of the scene.

“I can’t believe I just watched Cattiva go straight from Rookie to Mega and then claw Anubis to death.”

Some users point to why they think this is happening in the first place:

“As a developer, this bug will appear if there is an unused animation or a template animation that the Pal does not have access to that skill. There’s no way this kind of animation and size would appear out of nowhere. (Yes a bug, but this animation must be somewhere in the files).”

It seems to be the consensus that this is a result of the Pal not having access to the animation needed for the power.

But even with the bug explained, it left its mark on the Palworld community in a humorous way.
