Chick-fil-A is gearing up to launch a unique dining concept that centers exclusively on beverages, marking a significant departure from its traditional offerings of chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. This innovative initiative, known as Daybright, will make its debut in the Greater Atlanta area in 2025, operated under the chain’s subsidiary, Red Wagon Ventures.
As confirmed by Today, Daybright will feature a menu dedicated to drinks like specialty coffees, smoothies, and cold-pressed juices. However, the specific food items available have yet to be revealed. It’s important to note that patrons will not find beloved Chick-fil-A staples such as chicken nuggets or waffle fries at this new location, as it aims to establish itself as a distinct entity separate from the main Chick-fil-A restaurants.

Exploring New Horizons
Founded to explore innovative ideas beyond the traditional menu, Red Wagon Ventures reflects the entrepreneurial spirit of Chick-fil-A’s founder, Truett Cathy. The venture’s name pays homage to his childhood experiences of selling Coca-Cola from a red wagon in his neighborhood.
Daybright is entering a competitive landscape as many fast-food chains are expanding their beverage offerings. This market has long been a stronghold for Starbucks, but recent trends show other brands are keen to explore this territory. Notably, McDonald’s beverage-focused offshoot, CosMc’s, shut its doors after just under two years, although select specialty sodas from its lineup will find a place on the McDonald’s menus.
Chick-fil-A and McDonald’s are not alone in their explorations of new restaurant formats. KFC has also ventured into this realm with its ‘Saucy by KFC’ concept, launched in December 2024, which focuses on a variety of sauces to complement its chicken dishes, catering to evolving consumer preferences.
