The newly released Update 20 for Anime Adventures unveils an exciting new realm called Shibuya, alongside a thrilling Dungeon game mode, new unlockable units, and various other enhancements. The Dungeon Run mode stands out as a prominent feature that promises to deliver hours of entertainment for players.

The Complete Guide to the Anime Adventures Dungeon

Located on the left side of your screen next to the Contracts tab, the Dungeon offers an intricate maze with 20 distinct levels. As you delve deeper, both the difficulty and the probability of uncovering hidden treasures increase. Each room possesses its own unique characteristics, with some containing valuable treasure chests and others leading to shops stocked with useful items. Players can anticipate exciting rewards, including exclusive limited-time units that can enhance their gameplay.

Acquiring Dungeon Run Keys

To access the Dungeon in Anime Adventures, players need a Dungeon Run Key. Typically, one key is awarded as a daily login reward. If you have a key in your inventory, simply navigate to the Dungeon tab and click on Enter Dungeon to initiate your run. As you advance through the depths, you can exit the maze at any time by clicking the button at the top left corner; however, be aware that exiting early will result in losing all collected rewards along with one key.

In addition to earning keys through daily logins, players also have the option to purchase them. Head over to the Gambler NPC situated outside the Summon area (refer to the image above) and select Open Shop. Here, you can acquire 3 Dungeon Keys for 10 Sacred Treasures. Note that the items available from the Gambler’s shop replenish daily, which means prices are subject to change.

Unlocking Chests in the Dungeon

Once you’ve initiated a Dungeon Run with a key, you will be greeted by a menu showcasing available rooms, as illustrated in the image above. Choose wisely and enter rooms where you believe your units can perform well. Some notable map areas within the Dungeon include Rain Village, Fiend City, Sacred Planet, Snowy Town, Dungeon Throne, and Dungeon Room.

Acquiring Powerful Weapons

Start your journey at Depth 1 (0.4x difficulty) and continue progressing until you reach level 20. To proceed to the next depth, you’ll need to win each floor. The menu will detail what each room offers.Hoard rooms will provide currency that can be collected and later spent at the Shop for purchasing essential weapons. This aspect is vital, as higher levels demand greater firepower to succeed.

Maximizing Your Rewards

Rewards in the Dungeon mode are primarily sourced through the Chests you acquire by completing rooms marked with a chest symbol. You have the option to open treasure boxes at checkpoints illustrated on the menu, or you can save them until the end of your Dungeon Run for a final reveal.Opening chests at the conclusion offers the chance to unlock a secret unit.

Additionally, successfully navigating through all 20 depth levels of the Dungeon grants you the opportunity to unlock a limited-time special unit. Interestingly, certain rooms may inflict a Curse, which can complicate your journey while simultaneously benefiting your enemies. For instance, one room during my Dungeon Run featured the Curse of Shielding, amplifying enemy shield capacity. However, rooms with a Curse can still reward you with bigger loot, so if you’re feeling confident, tackle these rooms for a chance at legendary treasures.
