Unlocking the special Nuls often requires completing specific quests or achieving certain milestones. Below is a comprehensive guide to help you access each unique Nul:
Collector Hat Nul
The Collector Hat Nul markedly simplifies material collection. To meet this Nul, first, complete the Terra Nul quest series. During your adventure, Pochacco will introduce the Collector Hat, emphasizing its utility. After receiving the hat, seek out the Nul positioned outside Small Gift Big Smile to place the hat on them.
You can then specify any item for the Nul to gather daily from the island. Collected materials will be available in the Collection Box next to the Collector Hat Nul the next day, making it an excellent method for amassing supplies effortlessly.
Curator Nuls
Numerous Curator Nuls can be found across the Nature Preserve. Begin by completing the Open the Nature Preserve quest after speaking with Keroppi in Spooky Swamp. He’ll guide you in officializing the Nature Preserve’s opening, initiating your first task to locate the Bog Critter List, parked by a large tree.
Initially, critter donations won’t be feasible until you procure a Net, which Badtz-Maru provides along with crafting instructions for capturing critters. Completing the Restore the Nature Preserve quest afterwards will allow you to gather lists and donate critters from various regions on Friendship Island.
To open the Merry Meadows Critter Corral, cultivate a beanstalk by planting a Giant Seed and care for it daily. Located near the fast-travel mailbox at Meadows Creation Station, this corral can be accessed by descending from the Meadows Temple. Plant the third seed near the northeastern wall of the Merry Meadows Overlook to proceed.
For unlocking the Cloud Island Critter Corral, you need to undertake the Catching a Cloudragon quest commenced by Kiki on Cloud Island, intending to assist him in capturing a Cloudragon. After gathering help from the island residents, you’ll use either your Net or Bubble Wand to hunt a Cloudragon and present it to Kiki, who’ll then unlock the corral for donations.
Game Zeros

Ghost Tour Guide Nuls & the Witch Nul
Ghost Tour Guide Nuls are found near the Ghost Tour Ride in Spooky Swamp, accessible after completing the Re-Haunt the Spooky Swamp quest initiated by Kuromi. She will request your aid in revitalizing the attractions of Spooky Swamp and lead you to the Haunted Mansion for your initial Green Power Crystal assignment.
After placing the power crystal on the podium by the mansion, you’ll come across Chococat and TOPHAT, leading to a quest where you must scale the mansion. The initial floor contains the Witch Dress, and you’ll need to solve the 10 Haunted Mansion Puzzle Rooms sequentially to gain access to the 11th room where the next crystal is located.
Subsequently, you’ll find three levers close to the Ghost Tour Ride necessary for clearing the fog and illuminating the area. Completion of this task will allow a ride on the Ghost Tour, unlocking the Treasure Trove containing the Witch Hat and a third power crystal.
To access the last power crystal podium, you’ll need to don the full Witch outfit, as the Witch Nul guarding the podium grants entry only to those appropriately dressed. Activating the final power crystal will lead TOPHAT to recover a portion of its memory, and you’ll receive crafting plans for the Decorative Green Power Crystal. Note that while the Witch Nul disappears post-activation, a second Nul can be found accompanying Kuromi in the Witch’s Hut.

The Photo Op Nuls make their debut during the Picture Day quest. You will start by meeting My Melody near her shop when she invites you to capture a photo together. After that, head to Seaside Resort for more photo opportunities.
Upon arrival at the resort, you’ll connect with the Photo Op Nul who will facilitate a picture with My Melody. Pochacco will then join the session for another photo together. Subsequently, My Melody tasks you with discovering four more Photo Op locations throughout the island (as outlined in the table up top):

Once you’ve visited all these locations, all Photo Op areas will be permanently accessible.
Propeller Hat Nul
To acquire the Propeller Hat Nul, complete the Cinnamoroll is Missing quest, which becomes available at Friendship Level 14 with Cinnamoroll. The journey begins at the Comedy Club fast-travel mailbox when you encounter Hangyodon. He’ll mention strange noises from the mailbox, which leads to your discovery of Cinnamoroll trapped inside.
Cinnamoroll will ask you to retrieve his Mailbox Key from the plane. Before departing, he gifts you a Propeller Hat to place on the Nul near the Resort Plaza mailbox. With the hat fitted, you can request the Nul’s assistance to take you to the plane where you’ll find the Mailbox Key located in the back. After returning it to Cinnamoroll, you’ll not only receive a Propeller Hat but also gain unrestricted access to the plane.
Sprinkler Hat Nul
To unlock the Sprinkler Hat Nul, complete the Friends of the Flowers quest, which can be undertaken after finishing both the Terra Nul and Green Thumbs quests.
In this quest, Wish Me Mell will enlist your assistance in caring for flowers. Following a conversation with My Melody and Tuxedosam, you will receive the crafting plans for the Sprinkler Hat.
