If I never face a stare down with that Weeping Angel-inspired Tall Guy, I’ll count it as my last day on Earth.

Obtaining the Mega Hunt Pressure Token Badge

If you’re aiming to acquire the Mega Hunt Pressure Token Badge, brace yourself for a bit of a challenge. Your mission is to navigate through 40 rooms without meeting your demise.

Before starting your quest, ensure you enter the Hunted event door. Neglecting this can lead you into playing standard modes by mistake, which I speak from unfortunate experience. Remember, this is a solo event, so all participants should display 1/1.

Upon exiting the submarine, your first task is to retrieve the paper from the table adorned with a lamp on the left side. Once you’ve got it, descend the stairs to door 40 to commence your adventure. The rooms are numbered in descending order, and your objective is to reduce that number to zero.

Throughout this challenge, you’ll encounter three mysterious enemies. Your inventory will include an unlimited flashlight and a flash beacon with 300 charges, both crucial for confronting two of the three foes.

Strategies for Confronting Pressure Monsters

The Mega Hunt event introduces three new adversaries, among which the Tall Guy (tentative name) stands out as particularly vexatious. This creature operates similarly to a Weeping Angel — if you maintain eye contact, it remains stationary; look away, and it will advance toward you.

Additionally, if you create enough distance, the Tall Guy will retreat into a vent and reappear closer to your location. This enemy can inflict two or three hits, but with healing items, you may be able to withstand it. Beware, for if he catches you off guard, he may unceremoniously pick you up as if brushing off dirt.

Your best defense against the Tall Guy is to keep him in your line of sight. His presence can serve as a warning for other lurking enemies. If the lights start flickering and the Tall Guy disappears into a locker, it’s time for you to find shelter from the Monster (with a capital M).

You’ll be able to hear it approaching, and once concealed in a locker, you’ll notice if it bypasses you. If the Tall Guy is around, listen carefully; his departure from a locker might signal an opportunity to exit safely.

The final enemy is a Stone Gollum, who may surprise you suddenly. You’ll recognize these foes by their distinct sound of slamming stone. They may not cause significant damage, and a well-placed flash can easily dispatch them. If one approaches, jumping into a locker is a solid precaution.

Acquiring the Hunt Mega Token in Pressure

The quest for the Mega Token in Pressure resembles the regular quest but incorporates a few additional steps. Be mindful that you’ll face the same creatures and utilize the same items for both challenges.

Furthermore, if you’ve already obtained Mega Tokens from Spongebob TD and the Unlimited Tag Game, there’s an extra item to seek out. In the Lobby of the game, locate four pieces of paper needed for a passcode to access a door later in the game. Though their spawning locations remain consistent, they do vary randomly.

  • 1 – From the spawn, move left, ascend the light pole, and jump onto the railing above the submarines. At the end, you’ll find a balcony with a door containing the first two digits of the code.
  • 2 – Jump down and revisit spawn. Enter the Endless mode section and head left. Navigate around the first vehicle you encounter and notice the next two digits on the ground.
  • 3 – Return to spawn and follow the purple path until you find a fenced area. Inside, on the right, you will see some pallets. Jump over, leaning back to spot the third part of the code.
  • 4 – The final code piece can be found down the stairs marked by the red path. Descend two flights to the “Lower Level Funnel”door, take an immediate right through the door, and follow the catwalk until you reach the tower where the paper awaits on the left.

Once you have compiled all eight digits, enter the Hunted event and start your run. When the submarine departs, you will once again find yourself in the familiar starting area. This time, head up the left-side stairs, proceed through the door, and descend to a keypad. Enter the assembled code to discover a Decoder inside; you only need to acquire this item once; afterward, you’ll spawn with it every time.

With the Decoder in hand, descend the stairs and officially commence your run. The Decoder is designed for decrypting radios. You’ll need to locate five, which could be well-hidden, so stay vigilant — not just for the Tall Guy. Tune each radio until all lights turn green before pulling out the Decoder. Each successful use reveals a new decrypted symbol on your device.

As you approach the lower floors, activate a bridge to cross over. Do not enter the next green door; instead, go through the red door, which is specific to the Mega Token quest. Continue down the stairs and utilize the decrypted code to access the door at the bottom.

Upon reaching the Tram, activate it to teleport into The Vault. You’ll need to shine in this area by collecting thirty Intensity Increases. All the previous creatures will also be lurking around. Once you gather the required items, follow the path to reach the Pressure Mega Token.
