How to Begin DTI Valentine’s Day Quest Chapter 2
To kick off your quest in Chapter 2, head over to the main Dress to Impress lobby. Look for a portal that will transport you directly to the Valentine’s Day Quest server. Additionally, you’ll notice a heart button located in the bottom-left corner of your screen—click this before joining the event server.
Upon spawning in the server, your first task is to choose one of the swan boats in the Chapter 2 area. Keep in mind that this chapter presents more complex challenges than the first, so feel free to team up with friends or tackle it solo.
Unlocking the Heart Door: Puzzle Strategies
To open the heart door, you must successfully complete a few essential segments, with the first being the discovery of four hidden chests. - Chest Location 1: Hidden in the forest area, you can find the first chest in either the central water pool or tucked away inside a large log.
- Chest Location 2: The second chest requires a bit more time to locate, as it’s concealed within a Hospital. Follow the lit candles to guide you to this chest, and then use the arrows to exit the building.
- Chest Location 3: Look for the third chest in an eerie dining area, positioned behind a stack of boxes on its left side.
- Chest Location 4: The final chest can be found amidst the ruins. It’s typically situated behind a large broken statue. Occasionally, its position might vary, so check under the main entrance or below the ladder, but it shouldn’t be too far.
Memory Card Matching Game
To unlock two chests, participate in a memory game. Quickly glance at the cards displayed and try to memorize their positions. You only have five attempts to find all matches before needing to restart, so choose wisely!
Locate the Butterfly
Finding the butterfly is relatively straightforward compared to the memory game. Keep a keen eye on the butterfly card and click on it once the cards stop shuffling. Repeat this process three times to solve this puzzle and open the final two chests.
Color Matching Challenge
Upon returning to the heart door, you will face another memory game, though this one is considerably easier. Stand in the center to observe the order in which the statues illuminate, and then replicate that color sequence by clicking on the statues in the correct order. Repeat this three times to unlock the door.
Navigating the Obby Challenge
Danger lurks as Agamemnon threatens your progress! To escape, you must conquer the obby challenge. Beware—the floor is lava, and timing your jumps is critical to avoid getting burned. Here are three vital tactics for success:
- Activate Orbs: The path to the portal hinges on the orbs. Activate them by pressing the E key to unlock platforms and bridges along your way.
- Jump on Moving Platforms: Be prepared to traverse across squares that may either move or vanish once you land on them.
- 2D Platform: Cross over the large chains, but note that your view will shift to a 2D perspective once you step on them—navigate carefully!
