On December 13, CoryxKenshin broke his silence, reemerging with fervor and quickly climbing to the top of YouTube’s Trending page. His absence from the online scene for a year and a half had been a topic of speculation among fans and followers.
In his return video, he clarified that he had been focusing intently on developing his next major endeavor—a manga titled Monsters We Make. This marked a significant pivot in his career, as he concentrated on creating a compelling narrative that resonates with his audience.
Just three days later, on December 16, CoryxKenshin released another video elaborating on his hiatus and emphasizing his aspiration to adapt the manga into an anime series. His ambitious vision for the project was evident as he discussed the potential of transforming his written work into animated form.

He stated, “My second ambition for Monsters We Make is to adapt the manga into an anime. This goal, besides writing a good story… the ultimate goal for Monsters We Make, is to get it to a studio.”
Recognizing the importance of demonstrating audience interest, he encouraged fans to support the manga, saying, “I gotta come correct to these animation studios. I do feel Monsters We Make will be special. So again, Netflix, Crunchyroll—MAPPA, I’m looking at you. Whoever wants to come put in their bids, do it early. I think I have something.”
Additionally, Cory hinted at working on another undisclosed project, igniting curiosity among viewers about his creative endeavors. With past experiences that include a role in Blumhouse’s film adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy’s, his fans are eager to see what surprises await.
