Couple Uniquely Ties the Knot at Cult of the Lamb Booth During PAX Event

A unique couple celebrated their union by hosting a wedding ceremony at the Cult of the Lamb booth during PAX Australia, amusingly dressed as lambs.

The event, orchestrated by the game developers, Massive Monster, took place in front of a life-sized replica of the Cult of the Lamb Temple, serving as a perfect backdrop for their vows.

Countless onlookers flocked to witness the couple exchange their vows, with friends on the ground donning red cloaks to stay in theme. This memorable highlight from the three-day gaming convention in Melbourne has since gone viral online.

One attendee remarked, “May their love be as everlasting as the cult’s leader,” while another exclaimed, “YASSSSSS THAT’S LEGENDARY.”

Another guest shared their joy, stating, “I’m so thankful I was there for my friend’s wedding; it was a lovely experience. Praise be to the lamb!”

Interestingly, this ceremony wasn’t the only wedding taking place in front of the lamb. The developers expressed their congratulations to the newlyweds via the Cult of the Lamb Twitter/X account, mentioning that another ceremony was forthcoming.

“Wow! Huge congratulations to Jasper and Tanner on their wedding! But we’re not finished yet! One more wedding is set for 3 PM,” they shared, along with a close-up image of the first celebration.

Another audience member commented, “I was present for both ceremonies. I found myself in tears because they were both so touching.”

When Cult of the Lamb launched in 2022, we referred to it as “the most delightful brainwash.” For those unfamiliar with this indie hit, it’s a game centered around establishing and nurturing a cult, amassing power and riches while eliminating any foes in the way.

Even two years post-release, it still maintains a dedicated fanbase, especially after the Unholy Alliance update was released on August 12, 2024.
