In the world of Monster Hunter Wilds, the Seikrat stands out as arguably the best companion for hunters, serving as a reliable mount throughout your adventures. If you’re eager to personalize your Seikrat and match it with your unique style, this guide will walk you through the customization options available.
Where to Customize Your Seikrat
To begin customizing your Seikrat, head over to the NPC named Nona, located in Kunafa, The Windsong Village within the Windy Plains. Interacting with Nona provides you the necessary options to alter your Seikrat’s appearance. You can easily fast-travel to this location by following the Seikrat Customization icon on your map. It’s important to note that Nona is the sole NPC available for this purpose; no other villages will offer customization services for your Seikrat.

Keep in mind that you won’t be able to customize your Seikrat at night, as Nona retires for the day and becomes unreachable inside her hut. While this adds an interesting layer to the game, it might be inconvenient for some. If you’re in a hurry, consider resting at a campsite to shift the in-game time to morning.

Customization Options for Your Seikrat
Upon accessing the customization menu, you can choose from various options. You might opt for basic color changes or delve deeper by altering the patterns and intensity of your Seikrat’s feathers. Customization includes the ability to change both the outer and inner feather colors, as well as select different feather patterns. Additionally, just like your character and Palico, you can customize your Seikrat’s eye color. There are also options for decorations and pendants, which will progressively unlock as you increase your Hunter Rank.

As one of your most valuable allies on the hunt, your Seikrat facilitates aerial attacks, allows for swift travel across the terrain, and provides easy weapon swapping on the go. Make sure to nurture this bond by giving your Seikrat a name and some affection; you might even create a look reminiscent of the iconic Chocobos from the Final Fantasy series.
Now you’re all set to customize your Seikrat in Monster Hunter Wilds!
