Dad of missing teen found on IRL Twitch stream shares message to viewers

The father of a teenage girl who had been reported missing and was later found during Clix and FaZe Lacy’s IRL stream had a message for those who were in the Twitch chat during the live broadcast.

During their IRL stream in Miami, Florida in early July, FaZe Lacy and Clix engaged in conversation with a teenager wearing green shorts.

The following day, Lacy took to Twitter/X to share that he had been contacted by the older brother of the missing boy. In the message, the brother disclosed that Troy Coleman, the boy who had been missing from his home in Michigan, had been gone for three months.

The boy has been reunited with his family and, during an interview with People, Troy’s father shared a message for those who had watched the livestream on the day he was found.

Weston Coleman stated that he felt upset about people mocking him, but he was relieved that they were able to locate him. He emphasized that finding him was of utmost importance.

“I felt that the children didn’t truly comprehend what he was experiencing. It would have been nice if they had shown him more kindness, but unknowingly, they played a role in locating him.”

Despite his personal opinions about the behavior of Twitch chat during the stream, Troy’s father has expressed his gratitude to everyone who was involved.

The father expressed gratitude for his son’s survival and was still in disbelief that they were able to locate him.

Additionally, Coleman provided an update on his son’s general well-being. As of the time of this writing, Troy is currently recuperating at a hospital located in Florida.

Despite spending a significant amount of time in the Florida sun, Troy’s skin was left “scorched”from the intense exposure. According to People, he is now missing patches of skin on his ears, nose, and shoulders.

He further mentions that upon his return to Michigan, he may need to bring Troy to the doctor as a precautionary measure to prevent a recurrence of a similar incident.
