The recently launched maps for Marvel Rivals Season 1 are loaded with exciting Easter eggs, including notable references to unreleased characters, such as a surprising nod to Daredevil.

While a variety of heroes are currently available for players to choose from, there are numerous hints and tributes to other characters existing within the expansive Marvel universe. This latest update features three brand-new maps, providing fans with an even greater assortment of hidden gems to discover.

Players had speculated about Wong making an appearance following the discovery of his portrait inside the Sanctum Sanctorum. Now, the new Midtown map has unveiled a distinct reference to Matt Murdock, a.k.a. Daredevil.

Daredevil’s Presence Highlighted in Season 1 Easter Egg

Prominently featured on the new map is a large billboard advertising Nelson & Murdock, the law firm run by Daredevil and his close associate Foggy Nelson. This firm serves as a day job for Murdock when he isn’t fighting crime in Hell’s Kitchen.

The advertisement boldly displays the slogan “Fight the crime, fearlessly,” a clever nod to one of Daredevil’s iconic titles: The Man Without Fear, which is also the title of a highly acclaimed Daredevil storyline.

It is essential to note that this Easter egg doesn’t guarantee Daredevil’s addition as a playable character in the game. It may merely serve as a tribute to the broader Marvel universe, considering that the Nelson & Murdock office is a well-established Brooklyn fixture, mirroring the Midtown setting of the new map.

Nevertheless, many players are hopeful that this reference signals Matt Murdock’s future inclusion in the character lineup.
