Sulli’s Brother Makes Controversial Claims: “Script Was Thrown, Psychiatrist Was Shared”

Choi, the brother of the late Sulli, a member of the popular K-pop group f(x), has sparked renewed controversy through a series of unsettling posts on social media. The situation has gained traction, prompting discussions about the implications of his statements.

On April 2, Choi took to Instagram to share a list that included names of several celebrities. He later revised the post to reveal personal details and leveled direct accusations against high-profile artists such as IU, Kim Soo-hyun, and the late Kim Sae-ron.

“IU Threw the Script at Her”— Serious Allegations Concerning “Real”

In his altered post, Choi claimed that IU and Kim Soo-hyun had a close friendship and asserted that IU was initially considered for the female lead in the film “Real.” According to Choi, “After IU declined the role, they threw the script at Sulli.”

Furthermore, he insinuated that IU introduced Sulli to her psychiatrist and mentioned that the late Kim Sae-ron also sought help from the same mental health professional. These implications have drawn significant backlash, as many consider them an invasion of privacy and lack factual basis.

Ongoing Allegations Regarding “Real”

Choi has recently voiced accusations against the production team of “Real, ” including Kim Soo-hyun and director Lee Sa-rang, alleging that they pressured Sulli into participating in nude scenes. While he clarified that he does not believe there was outright coercion, he suggested that “sufficient persuasion (gaslighting) may have occurred.”

In reaction to these claims, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, released an emphatic statement refuting the allegations. They maintained that both Sulli and her agency were well-informed about the script’s contents prior to shooting, which included the scenes in question. The agency emphasized, “There was no acting double; the person on set was merely a standing actor used for lighting and blocking.”

Naming P. O Faces Backlash

Choi has also faced criticism for disclosing the names of celebrities linked to Sulli’s private life. In a recent Instagram Live session, he revealed that Sulli had a relationship with Block B’s P. O for about a year. He stated, “P. O visited our home and shared wine with us while they were dating. P.O was kind.”

This revelation has attracted substantial criticism for being intrusive and unwarranted, especially given P. O’s ongoing career in the entertainment industry. P.O’s agency, Artist Company, responded to the backlash by stating, “We ask for compassion regarding confirmations related to private matters.”
