Deadpool 3 changes name in a twisting trailer, not recommended for the faint of heart

Deadpool 3 is set to change the MCU forever by bringing Wolverine back into the spotlight, and viewers were treated to its first R-rated trailer.

Deadpool 3 is certainly the most anticipated comic book adaptation for the year 2024, celebrating the return of Ryan Reynolds in red tights, and that of Hugh Jackman in Wolverine’s iconic yellow costume.

And while fans were longing to see their favorite anti-hero again, a real trailer was unveiled during the Super Bowl after the usual teasers and other set photos. Because the major event in the world of sport is also the perfect opportunity for the Majors to reveal the first images of their next big productions.

The wait is finally over: the Deadpool 3 trailer has officially been released and it’s packed with vulgarity, bloodshed, and everything that characterizes sassy Wade Wilson… plus a new title.

The Deadpool 3 trailer is finally here, and it’s aimed at a mature audience

The first trailer for Deadpool 3 has just been released, and is already Rated-R, meaning it is reserved for audiences over 17 in the United States. And from now on, the film will be called Deadpool & Wolverine.

Details regarding the film’s plot have been kept under wraps, however, and many fans are still wondering how the previous two films will fit into the MCU. Ryan Reynolds previously hinted that the feature film would take a radically different direction from anything that has been done before, with the heroes formerly adapted by 20th Century Fox officially moving into the Marvel Cinematic Universe following the takeover by Disney.

For his part, Hugh Jackman had previously shared with SiriusXM the fact that Deadpool 3 would not encroach on the events of Logan: “All thanks to Marvel’s way of moving across timelines these days, which allows us to go back through “science” . And so, I’m not interfering with Logan’s timeline, which was important to me, and probably to the fans as well.”

Deadpool & Wolverine will be available in French theaters on July 24, 2024.
