Deku’s Need for Mirio’s Guidance in the My Hero Academia Epilogue Shown in Latest Chapter

As followers of My Hero Academia are aware, during the ultimate showdown with Shigaraki Tomura and All For One in the manga, Deku was forced to relinquish his One For All quirk and was left with only its remnants. This suggests that in the epilogue after the time skip, he likely no longer possesses his quirk or may be in danger of losing it soon.

Ultimately, Izuku Midoriya will revert back to his initial state at the beginning of the series, where he had no quirk. This will undoubtedly cause him to feel down and contemplate ways to keep up with his fellow classmates at U.A. High School.

Keeping this in mind, Deku could benefit from someone’s guidance. Mirio Togata experienced the loss of his quirk during the series, making him the ideal person for Deku to seek advice from. Regrettably, the conversation must take place at the earliest opportunity.

My Hero Academia: Deku’s Meeting with Mirio Before Leaving U.A. High School

Despite having lost his One For All quirk, Izuku Midoriya continues to carry its embers. However, he has become noticeably quiet, which could be an indication of depression. He struggles to assert himself in conversations and often finds himself speechless when speaking to others.

Therefore, it is possible that Deku will have to seek guidance from someone in order to navigate this difficult stage. Mirio Togata, who has also experienced the loss of his quirk before, may be the ideal person for Deku to confide in. Regrettably, in chapter 425 of My Hero Academia, the manga depicted the third-year students receiving their diplomas at the graduation ceremony.

As a result, it is certain that the current third-year students, such as Mirio Togata, Nejire Hado, and Tamaki Amajiki, will be departing from the school in the near future.

Despite the series of events, it is likely that the former third-year students will not depart from the school immediately. Instead, they will likely use this time to bid farewell to their friends and express gratitude to their teachers for the last time.

There is a chance that Mirio Togata may remain at the school for a short period of time, as they may need to retrieve their belongings from their dormitories before leaving a few days later.

Therefore, if Deku hopes to have a final face-to-face conversation with Mirio Togata, he will likely have to hurry to the former third-year student’s classroom for some guidance. Since Class 2A’s classes had already ended for the day, Deku would be able to do so.

Alternatively, the main character may encounter his mentor upon his return to his dormitory. However, it is evident that if Izuku Midoriya wishes to communicate with Mirio Togata, he will have to do so in the epilogue.
