Sanemi and Genya’s initial encounter with demons left a lasting impact on both of them, ultimately motivating Sanemi to enlist in the Corps and relentlessly pursue demons. Sanemi consistently shows animosity and aggression toward Genya, being particularly tough on him.

Despite their turbulent relationship, their bond is rooted in a profound love and concern for each other, with Sanemi’s harshness acting as a protective barrier for Genya.
Based on the episode preview, it is clear that the upcoming fifth episode of the Hashira Training Arc will be titled I Even Ate Demons. This strongly indicates that the episode will center on Genya Shinazugawa, as he is currently the only known Demon Slayer who has consumed demons in order to increase his power.
Fan Reactions to the Upcoming Episode
