Prior to the airing of episode 4 of Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc, Ufotable unveiled the preview image and summary on the official platforms for the series.
The next episode, titled ‘It Makes You Smile,’ is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 11:15 pm JST. It will air first on Japanese TV networks and will be available internationally on Crunchyroll and Netflix.
In Episode 3, Tanjiro joined Tengen Uzui’s stamina training and excelled. However, his fellow demon slayers struggled to keep up. Luckily, Tanjiro’s presence motivated them to push themselves even harder in order to become stronger.

Tanjiro’s Training with Tokito in Demon Slayer Episode 4
After completing his Stamina Training with former Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui in the previous episode, Tanjiro Kamado moved on to the next stage of Hashira Training. This phase, known as the Rapid Movement Training, is led by Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and focuses on improving body coordination by teaching techniques for smoother muscle easing and tensing.
As expected, Tanjiro’s training with Muichiro Tokito will likely conclude just as swiftly as his training with Tengen Uzui. However, unlike the manga where the training session was wrapped up in only two pages, viewers can anticipate a more detailed portrayal of it in the upcoming episode. The previous episode also included similar anime-original scenes.
Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc episode 4: Possible Anime Original Scenes with Muichiro Tokito
Despite the fact that the manga only dedicated two pages to the training sessions with Muichiro Tokito, fans can expect to see additional anime-original scenes in the upcoming episode. These scenes may not solely focus on the training, but could also include a short storyline involving Tanjiro and Tokito.
During the Swordsmith Village Arc, Tanjiro’s words deeply resonated with Tokito, empowering him to stand up against the Upper Moon Demon. As a result, it is possible that Tokito will approach Tanjiro to express his gratitude for the impact his words had on him.
During the previous episode of the anime, Sanemi Shinazugawa and Obanai Iguro discussed the incident in which they accidentally stumbled upon the Infinity Castle. However, they were unable to determine the location of the hideout. As a result, they became concerned about the possibility of a hideout being located near their base and the impact it could have on their resources.
Keeping this in consideration, Sanemi Shinazugawa and Obanai Iguro made arrangements for a duel between themselves to improve their abilities. As the manga lacks sufficient material, it is highly likely that viewers will be able to witness this fight in episode 4 of the Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc.
