Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is poised to make a spectacular debut in U. S.cinemas, with early predictions indicating potential box office records are on the horizon.
This eagerly awaited installment is the inaugural film in a trilogy that concludes the beloved Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series. The narrative focuses on Tanjiro Kamado, who becomes a member of the Demon Slayer Corps after a demon slaughters his family. Compounding his journey is the heartbreaking fact that his sister has been transformed into a demon during the same tragic event.
In this film, Zach Aguilar reprises his role as Tanjiro, while Channing Tatum joins the ensemble as Keizo, a new character introduced in the English dub. Given its growing popularity, the anime adaptation is anticipated to make waves in the U. S.market.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Set to Surpass Pokémon Box Office Milestone

Industry analysts predict high earnings for Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, estimating it could rake in impressive figures at the box office. Distributor Sony has forecasted a conservative $35 million from over 3, 300 screens nationwide.
However, as reported by Deadline, further analysis suggests actual earnings may reach between $45 million and $60 million. This variation is likely enhanced by all the premium Imax and Large Format screenings which will take place.

Even under the more conservative estimates, this film is set to break the record for the highest-grossing anime debut in the U. S., currently held by Pokémon: The First Movie, which earned $31 million back in 1999.
Internationally, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is already a box office powerhouse, boasting a staggering global total of $273 million, making it the 14th highest-grossing film of 2025 thus far.
The film will launch in U. S.and UK theaters on September 12, 2025, while fans of the series can currently stream previous installments on Crunchyroll.
