In their September 25 developer insight blog, Bungie confirmed that they will maintain an annual schedule for new raids, even as they downscale other storylines and activities.

“We’re still kicking off every year with a new raid, starting with a new raid in Codename: Apollo that will stand alongside the rich and varied history of experiences in this space.”

Raids undoubtedly represent the zenith of PvE content in Destiny 2, featuring highly challenging encounters that demand teamwork and player skills to successfully navigate. Furthermore, they provide some of the best gear available in the game, making them essential for Guardians striving to excel.
