The Season of Witchcraft introduces a fresh questline designed to guide players from level 0 to level 50. This season features intriguing puzzles, including a notable one encountered during the “Poison in the Roots”main quest.

Completing the “Poison in the Roots”Ritual

To successfully invoke the ancient name of the tree, players must follow a specific chanting sequence performed by the coven members: Ayh, Yew, and Oun. After the chanting concludes, interact with the braziers positioned around the ritual site in the following order:

  • Activate the Left Brazier: This should be your first step for “Ayh.”
  • Activate the Right Brazier: Follow by activating this one for “Yew.”
  • Activate the Top Brazier: Conclude with this braziers for “Oun.”

Upon igniting the braziers in the correct sequence, you’ll receive a special item known as Nangari Blood. Be sure to collect this item as it’s crucial for the next steps.

Next, you’ll need to draw a Ritual Circle. This involves walking slowly around the circle’s perimeter on the ground, which will trigger explosive blood effects to outline the circle.

Once you’ve successfully drawn the circle, be prepared for an onslaught of enemies attempting to disrupt your ritual. It’s essential to defeat all adversaries before they can drain the ritual’s health bar completely.

Successfully defending the circle signifies the completion of the ritual and concludes the “Poison in the Roots”quest. However, your journey isn’t over yet—while you’re in the Tree of Whispers, consider exploring how to craft Occult Gems and discover the most powerful Witch abilities and Armory locations.
