Discord Leak Indicates Upcoming Full VPN Feature for Nitro Subscribers

Discord seems to be on the verge of introducing a noteworthy new feature for its Nitro subscribers, as evident from a recently uncovered asset within the app that points to the development of a proprietary VPN service.

On November 20, an internal graphic named “VpnLaptopShieldBannerSpotIllustration” was identified in the latest Discord builds, thanks to keen-eyed Discord preview trackers. This illustration depicts a laptop accompanied by a shield icon, which has sparked speculation that a built-in VPN or traffic-proxy feature could soon be available for Nitro members.

While Discord has yet to make any official announcements regarding this development, the timing aligns perfectly with their ongoing rollout of experimental features. Recently, the platform has been enhancing its security tools, updating Safety Alerts, and even reintroducing its Clyde AI bot, all in a concerted effort to modernize the user experience.

Possible New Nitro VPN Feature Uncovered

Integrating VPN capabilities within Discord would eliminate the necessity for additional applications, thereby increasing the appeal of Nitro.
