Alongside the eagerly awaited Mounts of Mayhem update, there’s further exciting news for fans and crafters alike. Mojang has announced a collaboration with King Studios to develop an innovative mobile game titled Minecraft Blast. For context, King Studios is renowned for creating the highly popular Candy Crush Saga. Although the project is currently in its early phases of testing, here’s a glimpse into what this puzzle game promises to deliver.

Exploring Minecraft Blast: Features and Initial Testing Insights

Minecraft Blast is set to be a free-to-play puzzle adventure where players aim to match colored blocks. Designed for casual and engaging gameplay, levels will be quick, providing players with a dynamic gaming experience. During each round, players will have a limited number of moves to achieve specific objectives, as outlined in the game’s goal section.

Players can also look forward to various power-ups, such as the pickaxe, sword, and shovel, strategically placed at the bottom of the screen, enhancing the gameplay experience. In addition, Minecraft Blast will allow players to unlock themed areas and design creative structures that draw inspiration from the iconic Minecraft universe.

Currently, Mojang is conducting limited playtests in select regions, with initial tests available exclusively on the Apple Store in Malaysia. Future testing will expand to additional platforms and locations, aiming to gather valuable user feedback to fine-tune the game ahead of its official launch. It’s important to note that progress made during these testing sessions will not transfer to the final version of the game.

Fortunately for fans anticipating updates to the original Minecraft, a dedicated team is working on Minecraft Blast, ensuring that there are no delays or conflicts with ongoing updates and new features. This game caters to everyone—from die-hard vanilla Minecraft enthusiasts to those who thrive on Candy Crush. Are you as excited as we are for the upcoming release of Minecraft Blast?
