Named ‘Snack Kingdom’, this innovative store launched by Mingming Henmang, China’s leading snack retailer, is located in the bustling city of Changsha. Featuring more than 6, 500 brands, Snack Kingdom promises to redefine the shopping experience for snack lovers everywhere.
With an impressive footprint of over 12, 000 square meters, Snack Kingdom received official recognition from the Guinness World Records as the largest snack store worldwide on its opening day, April 17.
Highlights of Snack Kingdom
Upon entering Snack Kingdom, visitors are greeted by a stunning corridor lined with glass display cabinets showcasing an array of vibrant snacks. Adding to the store’s charm, an eye-catching art installation crafted from 70, 000 lollipops pays homage to a well-known album cover, enticing both collectors and art enthusiasts alike.
Inside, the store is organized into several themed sections catering to different snack preferences. For example, ‘Instant Noodle City’ boasts an astonishing selection of over 3, 500 varieties of instant noodles, while the cola section features an extensive array of sodas, including both popular brands like Coca-Cola and Pepsi, as well as unique options such as salted cola.
The demand for Snack Kingdom has exceeded expectations, prompting the store to temporarily halt sales just two days post-opening. This decision was made to address challenges with stock levels, system capacity, and the efficiency of checkout processes. Despite these interruptions, the store remains open for guests to explore and capture memorable moments through photos.
