Yang elaborated on the custody dynamics following Yulhee and Choi Min-hwan’s divorce. “At the time of their separation, it appeared that Yulhee had intentions to regain custody of the children. I believe she has a strong case,”Yang noted.

Since the divorce, Yulhee has continued to play an integral role in her children’s lives through regular visitations. Yang expressed confidence in Yulhee’s capability as a primary custodian, remarking, “Given that she has maintained consistent contact and involvement, there should be minimal disruption if she is granted custody.”

Yulhee and Choi Min-hwan, who married in 2018 and share a son and twin daughters, finalized their divorce in December 2023. Recently, on November 4, Yulhee filed for modifications regarding custody, alimony, and property division at the Seoul Family Court.
