Doritos is taking fans on an unexpected journey into the Upside Down with an exciting collaboration inspired by the Netflix series Stranger Things. This unique partnership introduces an innovative snack option that combines two beloved chip flavors—Cool Ranch and the newly minted “Stranger Pizza”flavor—packed in a single bag, alongside a tantalizing Black Garlic Dip.

The launch falls under Doritos’ innovative “Collisions” line, skillfully blending flavors in a single package. This particular combo pays homage to the nostalgic 1980s, aligning perfectly with the era when Cool Ranch was first launched, while simultaneously catering to fans’ cravings for a pizza-flavored chip experience.

Netflix Prepares for the Final Season with Doritos Collaboration

This partnership extends beyond the chip flavors, rolling out limited-edition Stranger Things packaging for other classic Doritos flavors, including Nacho Cheese, Sweet & Tangy BBQ, and Spicy Sweet Chili. Additionally, fans can find special themed packaging for Doritos and Cheetos Minis, offering a nostalgic experience on snack shelves.

Starting on September 30, a telethon themed around 1987 will engage fans with a unique opportunity to call 1-855-4-HAWKINS as part of the “Chip In for Hawkins” efforts, elevating the excitement surrounding the show’s final season.

To complement the chips, Doritos is also introducing the new Black Garlic Dip, complete with whimsical Demogorgon-themed packaging. This dip adds a flavorful twist to the snack experience, making it perfect for fans looking to indulge while watching the show.

This collaboration is merely one of many promotional efforts leading up to the highly anticipated release of Stranger Things’ fifth and culminating season. Netflix has announced that the first volume will premiere just before Thanksgiving, featuring four episodes that will be available starting November 26. Following that, the series will release three more episodes in Volume 2 on Christmas Day, and the dramatic conclusion will air on New Year’s Eve, December 31.

Doritos is not alone in capitalizing on the Stranger Things phenomenon; Chips Ahoy has also launched a limited-edition cookie inspired by the show’s mysterious alternate dimension, marking its first-ever fruit-filled treat to entice fans.
