Dr Disrespect and Kick joined forces to criticize Twitch for repeatedly interrupting Jynxzi’s streams on the platform with numerous ads.
The enmity between Dr Disrespect and Twitch continues to be one of the most intriguing mysteries in the world of streaming, following the abrupt permanent ban of the two-time from the platform in 2020.
Ever since then, Doc has continued to seize every chance to criticize Twitch’s imperfections. Kick, a competitor platform, also frequently mocks the purple site.
On April 17, an unexpected partnership was formed between Dr Disrespect and Kick when Doc shared his frustration about trying to watch Jynxzi’s Twitch broadcast for Rainbow 6, which was constantly interrupted by advertisements.
“After witnessing your defeat against bronze and silver players, I am now enduring seven 30-second advertisements,”the 6’8 YouTuber exclaimed, teasing the streamer and Twitch. “Let’s step up our game, for goodness sake.”
@jynxzi I just watched you lose to bronze and silver players and now I’m sitting through 7 Ads at 30 seconds a pop.Let’s get it together holy shit.

The Doc found it unpleasant to have to sit through three consecutive minutes of advertisements, which has been a contentious issue in the Twitch community for a while. While advertisements can be lucrative for streamers, their frequency can be a major inconvenience for viewers trying to watch a broadcast.
Despite being introduced a few years ago, mid-stream ads continue to face major opposition and unpopularity, with prominent figures like Asmongold leading the charge against them.
After Doc’s assault, Kick also joined the battle by sharing a screenshot from a livestream where they were subjected to an overwhelming 37 advertisements.
“I am unable to even conduct competitor analysis out here, my friend,”responded the Kick X account.

The unexpected reaction towards Dr Disrespect was from a single viewer who suggested that the two should come to an agreement that would result in the two-time joining Kick.
Despite ongoing rumors, it appears that Doc’s move from YouTube is still not a possibility. Despite speculation about the streamer’s $50M contract request, Kick’s Head of Product Paulie Chianese stated that the amount was simply too high.
Despite this, it may be wise for Doc to reassess his negotiations, particularly if advertisements are a major concern for him. The video-sharing platform he currently uses, YouTube, recently expanded its efforts to combat ad-blocking by focusing on third-party applications.
