Dr Pepper is embarking on an exciting new venture by partnering with Dippin’ Dots to create a frozen treat inspired by its iconic soda. This collaboration was officially unveiled at the 2025 NACS Show, where fans had the opportunity to sample the upcoming delight.

The union of these two distinctive brands promises to offer something truly unique. Dr Pepper, a staple in American soft drinks since its launch in 1885, is beloved for its diverse flavors. On the other hand, Dippin’ Dots has made a name for itself with its innovative flash-frozen ice cream beads, captivating taste buds since 1988.

Anticipated Launch of Dr Pepper Ice Cream in Early 2026

According to the food news platform Snackolator, which shared event highlights on Instagram, consumers can expect to find Dr Pepper Dippin’ Dots in stores by early 2026. The flavor is said to closely replicate the original Dr Pepper taste, invoking comparisons to the beloved Whataburger Dr Pepper Shake, but in ice cream form.

One enthusiastic attendee remarked, “We are getting Dr Pepper Dippin’ Dots and these are the best Dippin’ Dots I’ve ever had!” This positive response reflects the excitement surrounding the product.

This new flavor addition aligns with other unique collaborations showcased at the NACS event, such as Pabst Blue Ribbon’s partnership with Grillo’s Pickles for a beer infused with pickle flavor. These products reflect a prominent trend of merging nostalgic flavors with unexpected combinations among leading food and beverage brands.

The bold exploration of unconventional ice cream flavors has been a defining characteristic of 2025, with notable creations including breast milk-flavored ice cream and even one that aims to emulate the taste of sunscreen.
