About Dragon Ball Daima

The fifth installment of the Dragon Ball franchise, ‘Dragon Ball Daima’, was officially announced during the Dragon Ball Special Panel at New York Comic Con 2023. Fans can expect to see the series air in fall 2024.

Akira Toriyama, the original creator of the Dragon Ball series, is responsible for the story, settings, and many of the designs in the series. The term “Daima”was created specifically for the series and could be translated to “Evil”in English. It is worth noting that the kanji used for “Daima”actually means “great”and “demon/magic.”

Despite a nefarious plot, the protagonist Goku and his companions find themselves shrunk down and transported to a new realm. This thrilling journey takes them through a foreign and enigmatic world filled with exhilarating battles.
