Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Developers Warn Players of Serious Bannable Offense

For players of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, there’s a crucial piece of advice to consider if they wish to continue enjoying the game.

Even before the official release of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, various third-party modifications began appearing online, enabling gamers to engage in some remarkable battles—such as pitting CJ from GTA against iconic characters from the Dragon Ball universe.

While modifications can enhance the gaming experience, developers have recently issued a cautionary notice regarding their use in Custom Battles.

In a post on X, they stated: “Important information regarding Custom Battle MODs in DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO,” warning players that “appropriate security measures will be enforced against users of any MOD systems in Custom Battles.”

Additionally, players are strongly advised to remove “any Custom Battles featuring mods immediately” to prevent potential bans.

They also clarified, “Please keep in mind that our support team will not be able to assist with issues or appeals resulting from MOD usage. Your understanding and ongoing support for the game are greatly appreciated.”

In the Custom Battle mode, players enjoy crafting their own experiences by adjusting settings and creating unique matchups across different characters. Given the customizable nature of this mode, the presence of mods is not surprising.

Even with an impressive roster of 182 characters, the community continues to yearn for more enhancements—like the possibility of fusing two characters into one epic fighter.

However, with this warning issued, it is advisable for players to avoid using mods, even in offline gameplay.

On a related note, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is set to release three DLCs featuring characters from the SUPER: SUPER HERO movie and the newest chapter of the anime, Daima.
