Dunkin’ is escalating its caffeine game by introducing an innovative new beverage format that is making waves online: the 48-ounce bucket drinks. This new offering is significantly larger than the chain’s previous largest drink size and has captured the attention of coffee enthusiasts everywhere.

These impressive drinks are presented in a bucket-style container, equipped with a handle, a lid, and an extra-long straw, capable of holding nearly half a gallon of Dunkin’s iced beverages. This size is a remarkable double the capacity of the traditional extra-large 24-ounce drink and surpasses the largest options offered by many competitors.

Dunkin’ Introduces the Enormous 48-Ounce Beverage Bucket

Currently, Dunkin’ is piloting its ‘Dunkin’ Beverage Buckets’ through a limited test in select locations across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Participating stores include locations in Durham and Lee, NH, as well as Amherst and Foxborough, MA. The response has been overwhelming; some stores have already run out of their initial stock due to high demand.

The 48-ounce buckets are not limited just to iced coffee; Dunkin’ is also making this size available for iced lattes and its fruity Refreshers. Pricing for these beverages starts at approximately $8.89 for iced coffee and goes up to about $9.49 for the Refreshers, depending on the specific drink choice.

The online reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, with fans excited about the novelty and shareable aspect of these buckets. Many have humorously noted that these drinks struggle to fit in standard cup holders, with some users sharing that one bucket lasted them over five hours! As summer approaches, there is a call for Dunkin’ to roll this offering out nationwide.

Dunkin’ isn’t alone in pursuing larger servings; other companies are also enlarging their offerings. For instance, McDonald’s has introduced “Grand” fries in some international markets, while IKEA has made headlines with a towering 20-inch hot dog available in the UAE, greatly exceeding the beloved 1.50 glizzy from Costco.
