Although the galaxy in Star Wars Outlaws may seem lawless, there are essential rules that inhabitants must adhere to. If you engage in illegal activities against the Empire, your Wanted level will increase, attracting Stormtroopers who will hunt you down across various planets. Don’t worry; here’s how to manage it.
What is the Wanted Level?
The Wanted Level system is closely linked to the Empire and activates when you’re caught committing crimes against them. You’ll know you’re a fugitive when “Wanted”appears on the screen.
Your Wanted level is indicated by the number of segments in a circle beneath the Imperial logo, with the maximum level being 6. At level 6, a manhunt involving Death Troopers will commence.
How to clear your Wanted Level?
There are various methods to reduce your Wanted Level in Star Wars Outlaws, allowing you to choose one based on your current level.
Lay Low
If your Wanted Level is low, laying low is an effective strategy. Stay out of sight of Stormtroopers until they conclude their search.
If spotted by an Imperial, you must find another hiding spot until the search is called off.
This method is suitable for lower Wanted Levels; for level 6, hiding will not suffice.
Bribing an Imperial
Many Empire members seek extra cash. In every city, you can find Corrupt Imperial Officers willing to clear your Wanted Level for a fee. These officers are marked on the map. Approach them, pay the required amount, and you can leave without a trace.
These officials can reduce your Wanted Level up to 5, though it may be quite costly.
Infiltrate an Imperial Terminal
Imperial Bases and Checkpoints are scattered throughout the galaxy. Locate your nearest one and find an Imperial Terminal, which can be hacked.
These computers are identifiable on the map and are found in open-world locations.
Once you hack into the Imperial Terminal, you can call off the search, reducing your Wanted Level to 0. This method is also effective for levels up to 5.
Use an Imperial Satellite
Similar to the Imperial Terminal, using an Imperial Satellite allows you to erase your Wanted Level. This method is applicable if your Wanted Level is 5 or lower.
These Satellites are located in space. Use your Trailblazer to navigate to one, park beside it, and interact with the Satellite while out of combat. Be aware that any Imperial attacks will disrupt this process.
Turn off the Death Trooper Terminal
If your Wanted Level reaches 6, the only way to clear it is to manually call off the search. This is the most dangerous level in the game.
Find the Death Trooper camp on your map, marked as “Death Trooper Squad.” Approach and take down a patrolling Imperial Officer to steal his Imperial Terminal Keycard. Use this card to enter the main tent, which is guarded by Death Troopers, to clear your Wanted Level.
As one of the deadliest adversaries in Star Wars Outlaws, Death Troopers can be challenging to defeat, so consider avoiding them if possible.
