In the game Samson, players face thrilling challenges that often involve neutralizing escaping vehicles. Successfully accomplishing these tasks can prove difficult, particularly when weapons are not an option.

While ramming enemy vehicles is a possibility, this action can inflict damage on your own car and complicate an already tough mission. Fortunately, there are effective strategies to efficiently complete these tasks in Samson.

Your first encounter with vehicle takedowns will likely occur during the mission “Gold’s Gas is like Family, ” where you need to pursue and disable two fleeing crew members in separate cars. Understanding the mechanics involved is key to successfully completing such objectives.

To initiate a takedown, one method is to ram into the target vehicle. Utilizing the side ram control (X or Square on your controller) allows for effective side collisions. However, this tactic damages your vehicle, and insufficient speed may barely inflict any damage on the target.

Before commencing any takedown mission, it is wise to repair your vehicle for enhanced durability. While missions can still be completed with decreased durability, implementing the following strategies becomes critical for success.

An optimal approach involves engaging in a prolonged chase, encouraging the fleeing vehicle to crash into obstacles like poles, walls, or other cars. To maintain your vehicle’s integrity, lightly ram the target from the side and look for opportunities to force it into a crash.

It is advisable to chase at higher speeds; thus, allow the escaping vehicle some distance to gain momentum before you begin your pursuits. A crash at low speed will not sufficiently damage the vehicle.

Additionally, consider avoiding nitro boosts during initial pursuits. Although you can eventually catch up, it’s more strategic to use boosts when your nitrous bar is filled. Look for sandwich boards on your route to slowly refill your nitrous. Replenishing your nitrous is done similarly to vehicle repairs, at designated repair shops.
