The recent release of the Shadow of Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring introduced a formidable new spell known as Rain of Fire. This incantation is incredibly potent, conjuring a colossal cloud of fire that showers down upon the battlefield, making it nearly impossible for enemies to evade.
Regrettably, obtaining this spell may prove to be a challenge for many players as it is situated deep within the Shadow Keep in the northern section of the map.
1. How to Obtain the Rain of Fire in Elden Ring DLC?
The powerful Rain of Fire incantation can be obtained by defeating a Fire Knight wizard near the West Rampart site of grace, deep within the Shadow Keep. This can be found in the northernmost part of the Shadow Realm.
Assuming you have already reached the Shadow Keep, begin your journey from the Storehouse on the First Floor, continue through the site of grace, and make your way to the hooded Fire Knight.
2. How to Find the Rain of Fire Incantation in Shadow Keep
To quickly reach the Storehouse on the first floor, use the fast travel option. Upon arriving, simply head west and take the wooden elevator down.
After exiting the elevator, go through the arched gateway on the right and then immediately turn left through another gateway.
Next, leap from the wooden platform and continue heading west until you come across a spacious area. There, you will discover the West Rampart site of grace.
As you travel west on the stone bridge, activate Torrent and continue on until you reach a hooded Fire Knight who is casting powerful fire spells at the end of the path.
If you defeat him, you will receive both the Rain of Fire incantation and Salza’s Hood.
3. Is the Rain of Fire Incantation Effective in Elden Ring?
Considered one of the most powerful offensive spells in Elden Ring, Rain of Fire unleashes a torrent of fiery explosions from the sky, inflicting massive AoE damage for a considerable duration. When utilized with expertise, it has the potential to secure victory in both PvE and PvP encounters.
Despite its effectiveness in defeating foes, this spell may not be suitable for all builds due to its high requirements of 52 Faith stat and 27 FP to cast. While it may not be as impressive as Unendurable Frenzy, it is still a valuable tool in overpowering any enemy you may come across.
