Elgato recently unveiled its Neo collection of accessories, which showcase updated designs and features, as well as a significantly reduced price range.
Over the years, Elgato’s popularity among Twitch streamers has soared thanks to products such as the Stream Deck, Prompter, and their Wave line of microphones.
Despite being considered entry-level models, the Stream Deck MK.2 and current Wave USB microphones both have a price point of approximately $150.
Elgato has met the demand for affordable products by releasing their stunning Neo lineup on April 18, 2024.
The Neo family of devices now includes more affordable options for the Facecam, Key Light, Stream Deck, a capture card, and a brand new microphone.
Elgato has recently released a smaller version of their popular Stream Deck, featuring only eight programmable buttons. However, the company has also included a dedicated “info bar”which displays static information such as the current time and weather. In addition, there are two touch points available for scrolling between pages of icons or different profiles for work and content creation.
The Wave Neo features a unique design from Elgato, incorporating a pill-shaped body placed on a specialized stand. It is equipped with a USB-C port and is compatible with a wide range of devices, including the iPhone and iPad.
Elgato applied their signature “cozy”white design to the Key Light Neo, Facecam Neo, and Game Capture Neo, while still providing high-quality products at a significantly lower price.
Curious about the exact price? Well, the Neo Family line of products is approximately $50 less expensive than Elgato’s previous lowest-priced option in the same category. Based on this information, it is reasonable to estimate that the Facecam Neo will likely be priced around $89.99 when it is officially announced.

Not only Twitch streamers and YouTubers, but also individuals who work from home daily can benefit greatly from the accessibility of each device. Personally, I utilize my Stream Deck+ throughout the day to keep track of time zones and switch between various apps while working.
A basic button allows me to change profiles during nighttime, giving me access to control my Nanoleaf and Discord features while I am playing the newest game with my friends.
