The projects or expeditions tab in ARC Raiders can initially seem perplexing. It necessitates the investment of resources in bulk, which can be daunting if you’re unclear about which items to prioritize.

This guide aims to streamline your expedition experience by providing an exhaustive list of materials essential for each phase of the expedition process. Additionally, we’ll explain what transpires once you conclude an expedition in ARC Raiders.

Essential Materials for Each Expedition Stage in ARC Raiders

Expedition Stage Required Materials
Stage 1 150x Metal Parts, 200x Rubber Parts, 80x ARC Alloy, 15x Steel Spring
Stage 2 35x Durable Cloth, 30x Wires, 30x Electrical Components, 5x Cooling Fan
Stage 3 5x Lightbulb, 30x Battery, 20x Sensors, 1x Exodus Module
Stage 4 5x Humidifier, 5x Advanced Electrical Components, 3x Magnetic Accelerators, 3x Leaper Pulse Units
Stage 5 250, 000 Coins worth of Combat items, 100, 000 Coins worth of Survival items, 180, 000 Coins worth of Provisions, 300, 000 Coins worth of Materials
Stage 6 7-Day Launch Period

Completing all expedition stages requires a significant number of materials, and it’s important to note that players receive no compensation for any of these contributions. Consider these materials as a necessary investment for ultimately extracting your raider.

Compounding this challenge is the fact that many of these materials have multiple uses within the game. If you explore various crafting recipes, you’ll see that items like Steel Springs, Electrical Components, and Sensors are in high demand.

The good news is that you don’t have to gather these materials all at once. You can contribute resources gradually until you complete the final stage.

It’s essential to remember that at stage 6, there is a waiting period of seven days before you can set off on the expedition and reset your raider’s progress.

Expeditions function similarly to a “prestige” mechanic in which you reset much of your game progress to start anew. You might wonder why some players opt for a reset. There are two primary motivations:

  • Rewards: Players receive a variety of benefits, including increased XP gain, more Scrappy materials, enhanced repair capabilities (repairs are performed every 50 durability), additional stash space, and bonus skill points linked to stash value when they depart.
  • Fresh Challenges: Many players enjoy resetting their progress to face new challenges, making the game feel invigorating.

Although most key elements reset, you retain certain assets like Creds, Raider Tokens, Raider Decks progress, Leaderboard standings, Trials, Cosmetics, and event progress. These aspects, aside from their contribution to post-expedition rewards, do not influence gameplay significantly.
