Are you a fan of capturing photos in the enchanting world of Genshin Impact? If so, the event “Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens”may be just right for you. This is the second event in version 4.8 and will run until August 8, 2024.
In this event, as the title implies, players will assist Asagiri in finding inspiration by capturing photos of various locations throughout Teyvat. The tasks are relatively simple and offer generous rewards.
1. How to complete Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens event in Genshin Impact
In order to participate in the Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens event in Genshin Impact, players must complete all 14 tasks between July 29 and August 8, 2024. To begin the event, players must first finish the Archon Quest Prologue Act 3—Song of the Dragon and Freedom and achieve an Adventure Rank of at least 18.
Once the requirements have been met, a brief quest will appear in the quest menu. Follow this quest and speak with Asagiri to begin the event.
After the event begins, you will be given various tasks that will require you to capture photos at different locations in Teyvat. These photos must feature a specific character performing various actions such as walking, standing still, and using a charged attack.

For the Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens event, there are 14 tasks in total, each of which comes with its own corresponding rewards. These are listed as follows:
- Primogems x30 (total 420)
- Mora x20,000 (total 2,80,000)
- Artifact level up EXP
- Talent Level up material
4. Introduction to Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact, an action-adventure RPG, was created and released by miHoYo. It offers the option for both single-player and multiplayer modes, and also includes cross-platform and cross-save capabilities.
