The plot of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a work of fiction set during the Viking expansion into the British Isles. It centers on Eivor and his adoptive older brother, Sigurd.

Eivor, a Viking raider, is driven to establish a new Viking clan in England due to the political tensions in Norway. However, this decision leads Eivor to become embroiled in the ongoing conflict between the Assassin Brotherhood and the Order of the Ancients.

However, Ezio becomes entangled in the battle for the Ottoman throne and a plot orchestrated by the Byzantine Templars while on his quest.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (1715 – 1722 AD)

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate (1868 AD)

New and Upcoming Assassin’s Creed Games

Although Valhalla and Mirage are among the most recent installments in the series, Ubisoft is already making plans for multiple upcoming titles.

The upcoming mobile game, Assassin’s Creed Jade, is set in China during the year 215 BCE. This installment will be the first in the series to offer players the ability to customize their own assassins.

The upcoming mainline games include Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which is set to release on November 15, 2024 and takes place in Japan during the Sengoku period. Another game, rumored to be titled Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe, is said to be set in 16th-century Central Europe during the time of the witch trials.

The standalone game, codenamed Assassin’s Creed Invictus, will center on multiplayer gameplay, similar to Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and will also include the co-op feature from Assassin’s Creed Unity.
