When will Arena return to League of Legends?

The Arena mode will be available on the League of Legends PBE starting Wednesday, April 15, and will be released for all players on May 1 with the arrival of patch 14.9.

The release of the ranked system will be postponed until a later point in the season, specifically the 14.10 patch.

In a specific round, players will be given a selection of random Prismatics to choose from, similar to the way Auguments functioned in previous versions of Arena.

An additional addition to the items available in Arena are Anvils. These Anvils can be bought from the shop and are consumables that provide players with three random choices from a specific category of items. The three variations of Anvils are Prismatic, Legendary, and Stat.

Prismatic allows players to select from a variety of Prismatic items. On the other hand, Legendary offers a selection of items based on a specific category, such as Legendary Mage or Legendary Fighter. However, Stat offers players a random selection of raw stat upgrades.

The cost of anvils will also be less than purchasing some of these items directly.
