Context for JCS’s Apology to Fans

“Sorry for letting you guys down… The channel wasn’t sold, and we haven’t quit. We’ve just been dealing with some outside YouTube-related stuff. We’ll make it up to you and start putting out consistent content, if you’re willing to give us a second chance. But in any case, love goes to you all. I still cannot believe you got us this far.”
This comment was made public on April 3, 2025, following the removal of their earlier mini-documentary, “Newlyweds tell on each other.”
Clarifying the AI Narration Controversy
A wave of controversy erupted surrounding JCS’s new content, as many fans accused the channel of utilizing AI for narration instead of their typical voice artist, Kizzume. Viewers expressed disappointment over the apparent decline in quality in their latest upload.

Comments on the JCS subreddit revealed frustration among fans: one user remarked, “The video was nowhere near the same pedigree as before; AI voices were odd, and it’s mostly just footage without commentary.” Others speculated that the original team may no longer be involved with the channel.
In light of the backlash, Kizzume stepped forward to dispel misunderstandings, stating, “Look, there are people saying things that are just incorrect about JCS and myself. JCS got my permission first to use AI regarding my voice, and I am also being compensated word for word like I normally would.”
Kizzume clarified the situation further, explaining that AI was employed to expedite production due to personal struggles faced by the team, but acknowledged this approach was not well-received. He assured fans that subsequent videos would feature his authentic narration.
Following this clarification, JCS’s latest upload has returned to the higher quality fans expect. Many expressed their overwhelming support in response to the apology. One viewer commented, “It’s okay, welcome back, ” while another added, “I knew you would be back; this feels good.”
