Disney Dreamlight Valley has taken its recent Jungle Getaway update to new heights by adding a functional aspect to cosmetic Wings – allowing players to fly!
Set in a vibrant world filled with beloved Disney characters, Disney Dreamlight Valley invites you to explore and assist familiar faces like Mulan, Tiana, and even Jafar, as you traverse various corners of the Valley on errands.
Previously, players could only increase their speed by overcharging their stamina bar, causing it to glow gold for a brief gliding effect. Although Wings were part of the game, they served purely as a decorative feature with no real flying capabilities.
However, the latest Jungle Getaway update from Gameloft introduced a magical twist that enables players to truly take flight across the Valley.
While Tinkerbell has yet to provide a portal to Neverland in the Dream Castle, players can now soar through the skies without her fairy magic.
Simply overfill your stamina bar and equip a wing glider, and your standard gliding animation will transform into dazzling winged flight. The Valley now feels even more enchanting.
Not only did the Jungle Getaway update introduce exciting new content, including The Lion King’s iconic duo, Timon and Pumbaa, and the Night Show Star Path, but the ability to fly has undoubtedly taken center stage.
The excitement within the Disney Dreamlight Valley community is palpable, with players eager to showcase their wings. On Reddit, one enthusiastic player exclaimed, “Oh my gosh, we can fly?!…..WE CAN FLY!!!” conveying their inner Peter Pan.
Another player chimed in, stating, “This is definitely the aspect I’m most thrilled about in this update!” Some players even humorously pledged to keep their stamina bar full, jokingly committing to maintaining that golden glow at all times.
This newfound ability also encourages players to utilize Tiana’s Meal Stall from the Dapper Delights update, as keeping a good stock of food is now essential for sustaining your flight.
