After being liberated from Black Maria’s trap by Robin and Brook, Sanji hurried to aid Chopper, who had been holding Queen for a while but was ready to fall victim to him. Queen recovered right away from Sanji’s Diable Jambe: Rotisserie Strike.

He then revealed that Sanji was the son of Judge Vinsmoke, a former teammate in the MADS gang, and asserted that Judge, who was renowned for doing body modifications on his children, was responsible for Sanji’s flaming kicks.

Marco had used up a lot of energy by the time King was able to corner him. Then King gave the order for all the henchmen to look for Roronoa Zoro, who was receiving medical attention after taking part in the furios battle against Kaido and Big Mama.

Before Zoro could recover, King gave the others the order to kill him. King and Queen were attempting to halt, but Sanji was swiftly knocked to the ground by the former. King then tried to assault Zoro while he was still receiving medical attention, but Marco was able to deflect the blow.

The very next instant, Sanji struck Queen with the Diable Jambe: Mouton Mallet while Zoro recovered and struck the King with the Three Sword Style: Purgatory Oni Giri. As a result, Sanji continued his conflict with Queen while Zoro began to attack King.

Queen sought to defeat Sanji to demonstrate his dominance over Judge, considering Sanji to be a creation of the latter’s research. Sanji noticed that after using the Raid Suit, his body was awakening the same features as his brothers, which irritated him more and more as the struggle went on.

As Sanji found himself in trouble, his genetical features awakened

Sanji said that his ability to sing Diable Jambe is a result of his intense enthusiasm rather than his father’s genetic tinkering, which he hated. Queen went on to discuss the technology of Germa 66.

Sanji attempted to hit Queen back with a Diable Janbe Bien Cuit Grill Shot after dodging her lasers, but he was unable to actually harm him. Sanji began to ponder how he could defeat Queen’s Ancient Zoan-boosted durability as a result.

Queen then captured Sanji and strangled him in an effort to damage his bones and internal organs using his attack Brachiosnakeus. Although helpless, Sanji was a little bit released from Queen’s hold when he mistakenly fired missiles at himself.

Nevertheless, Queen’s method fully broke all of Sanji’s torso’s bones. To everyone’s surprise, including his own, Sanji repositioned his body’s bending. A short while later, Queen struck him in the neck with a sword, but it broke and he was uninjured.

Sanji became concerned about becoming soulless like his brothers as he realized that his body unlocked the same features as them. He made an attempt to run away, but Queen pursued him and persisted in her demand that he don the Raid Suit so that he could defeat him and demonstrate to Judge that he was the better scientist.

A number of girls who were hidden there accused Sanji of hurting one of them, O-Some, when he found himself in the Pleasure Hall. Sanji was incredulous and worried that he had actually started to resemble his brothers, despite his pledge to never harm a woman.

Sanji debated which aspect of himself—a guy who would never injure a woman or an emotionless evil warrior—would be more advantageous to Luffy. He took the Raid Suit out of the box and destroyed it.

Then, using a Radio Snail, Sanji made contact with Zoro, who was embroiled in a bloody fight with King, and requested that the swordsman kill the young man should he truly lose his humanity and become into a cruel villain. Zoro concurred, but he was perplexed.

Sanji thanked Zoro before accelerating to his top speed and becoming invisible to Queen. Then he used Hell Memories to strike the latter, blowing him quite a distance away. Queen, though, took the blow in stride and returned to Sanji.

The final climax

Unexpectedly, Queen began employing all of Sanji’s brother’s special moves. Sanji was able to avoid Sparking Queen, but he was hit by Henry Queen and injured. He then seized Winch Queen, who smashed him through multiple walls and inflicted significant damage.

With a hard kick and a Flanchet Flayer blow to the stomach, Sanji was able to escape Queen’s hold and dismantle his artificial arm. Sanji informed Queen that he wasn’t the same adversary he had previously faced with a self-assured smile.

Sanji was challenged by Queen to demonstrate his differences from him. Then he vanished, revealing that he had even imitated Stealthblack, Sanji’s Raid Suit ability to mask his appearance. In response, Sanji began to move so quickly that he once more vanished from Queen’s view.

Sanji’s rapid movement was clearly draining his energy, so Queen made the decision to wait until he was worn out. O-Some, looking for her pet mouse Chuji, entered the space in the meantime.

When Queen saw O-Some, she admitted that he was the one who had previously chastised her since she had refused him. Then he made another effort to hit her. Sanji went all-out, enraged by Queen’s conduct and the fact that as a result of the former he had accused himself of violating his most fundamental ideal.

Sanji improved his ability to withstand flames by combining his Armament Haki and the exoskeleton he was given as a result of his genetic modifications. He then released the Ifrit Jambe, a stronger variation of the Diable Jambe.

Sanji viciously assaulted Queen with Ifrit Jambe: Collier Coup as he was about to harm O-Some, then launched a series of assaults that ended in the deadly Ifrit Jambe: Boeuf Burst.

The conflict came to an end when Queen took the hit and was sent flying away from Onigashima. Sanji then demonstrated to O-Some how Chuji was saved. Sanji abruptly passed out from tiredness after recalling the young mouse he had once nursed. He was unconscious as O-Some attended to his wounds.

What does the fight against Queen mean for Sanji?

Sanji’s reputation for strength started to decline after the post-time skip narration began. Although a Commander-level person, his trainer Ivankov is nothing compared to Mihawk, the World’s Greatest Swordsman, who trained Luffy and Zoro, and Rayleigh, the second-in-command of the Roger Pirates.

Sanji failed to impress in the subsequent arcs. After fracturing his leg in a fight with Vergo in Punk Hazard, he revealed his inadequacy to the latter despite the later being very reserved and not even using his Armament Haki. Sanji was mercilessly destroyed by Doflamingo in Dressrosa during a brief, one-sided encounter.

Sanji’s role as a warrior wasn’t even highlighted in Whole Cake Island or at the start of Wano. Ultimately, Sanji showed his mettle during the raid on Onigashima when he faced off against Queen, the third-strongest Beasts Pirate behind the captain Kaido and King, the latter’s right-hand man.

Queen crushed every bone in Sanji’s trunk using his Ancient Zoan and cybernetic weapons. Fortunately, Sanji’s power-up came to life right then and there, saving him. He would have perished if his Vinsmoke genes had not come on at the appropriate time.

Sanji gained a new level of power when he finally used his genetic upgrades, enabling him to beat up Queen. Defeating the third-strongest Yonko crew member was undoubtedly a remarkable feat for Sanji.

Queen yet resembled a crazy inventor unable to completely utilize his own powers more so than a skilled combatant. He wasn’t just fixated on Sanji; he was also fixated on Judge Vinsmoke, the father of the latter. Powerful but clumsy, Queen occasionally even struck himself with his own blows.

Final thoughts

Luffy and Zoro were judged powerful enough by One Piece author Eiichiro Oda to bravely battle the Emperors and even acquire the rare Advanced Conqueror’s Haki, the ultimate strength’s distinctive ability. Sanji was never regarded as deserving of such attention.

But it was good to see Sanji finally succeeding in the New World. Even so, even after displaying his greatest might over Ifrit Jambe, he found it difficult to defeat Queen because it took several blows to accomplish it. Sanji was damaged as a result of being struck twice throughout the process.

As opposed to defeating his adversary in a decisive head-to-head battle like Luffy did with Kaido and Zoro did with King, Sanji chose a more ambiguous way to settle the conflict. In the crucial time, Queen was sidetracked by O-Some and lost concentration on Sanji, providing the latter with a clear opportunity to strike him.

Sanji still has a ways to go, but the conflict with Queen was a turning point for the well-liked chef. Sanji’s powers have significantly improved as a result of the Ifrit Jambe and the Vinsmoke upgrades, making him once again deserving of the title of third-strongest member of the Straw Hat Pirates.
