Warzone Season 2 has officially launched, introducing an exciting array of new features, including fresh weapons, the highly anticipated Ranked Play, and a stunning winter aesthetic transformation of Rebirth Island. The revival of the Loaded Resurgence mode also adds to the excitement.
The Ranked Play Resurgence format is hosted on Haven’s Hollow, yet the rejuvenated Rebirth Island features new points of interest (POIs), explosive infiltration gas effects, and redesigned structures. Players can now dive into the updated map while enjoying the dynamic gameplay of the Loaded Resurgence Limited-Time Mode (LTM).Here’s what you need to know about it.
Understanding Warzone’s Loaded Resurgence
Loaded Resurgence offers a familiar experience reminiscent of standard Resurgence, though with a pivotal difference: players start with their complete loadouts. Set on Rebirth Island, the emphasis remains on team survival, as maintaining at least one living squad member is crucial. However, the tempo is notably quicker since players bypass traditional looting for weapons.
Instead of searching for Perks, players will accumulate them with each kill. Achieve enough kills, and you unlock the coveted Specialist bonus, which bestows every Perk available in the game.
This mode was previously available during the Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 Reloaded update in 2024, making its return a welcome surprise for fans.

Availability of Loaded Resurgence
Players can enjoy the Loaded Resurgence mode until Thursday, February 19, after which it will transition to Loaded Resurgence Casual. This variant introduces bot opponents to provide a more relaxed experience, running until March 5.
After this period, prepare for the arrival of the Iron Gauntlet mode, which will debut in Verdansk. This new competitive experience features heightened health, the removal of free loadout drops, and the elimination of the Gulag, promising a fresh challenge for seasoned players.
