What Happens to David Siegel?

Despite the conclusion of Episode 5 of “Sugar” and the immense pressure he faced after news of his extortion against women was exposed in tabloids, David Siegel attempted suicide by shooting himself with a concealed gun in his bathroom. This prompted his frantic parents to rush him to the hospital for emergency medical care.

Despite the seemingly impossible odds, David managed to survive after potentially shooting himself in the mouth or face. However, in Episode 6, the doctor shocked everyone with a revelation: David had indeed survived the suicide attempt, although he was in critical condition. While the emergency surgery was able to physically save David, any sense of relief was short-lived.

Despite the successful emergency surgery that saved David’s life, his brain had suffered permanent damage from the bullet wound. As a result, he would no longer be able to speak, move, or think. The doctor determined that David would only be able to survive in a vegetative state and suggested that his organs be donated to help others in need.

Question about John Sugar being attacked

Despite being stabbed in the stomach while fighting Stallings, John Sugar remains relatively calm. He reaches out to Melanie (Amy Ryan) for assistance, even though he is bleeding heavily and appears to be unaffected by the pain.

As they arrive back at home, John requests that Melanie call his doctor, Henry (Jason Butler Harner). Henry then asks Melanie to step out so that John can have some privacy. He proceeds to take out a pouch filled with a mysterious liquid and administers it to John to aid in his recovery.

4. Who helped Stallings?

In Episode 6, Ruby admits to aiding Stallings.

After finding Kirby’s call on Stallings’ phone, John decided to speak with her once he was feeling better. Initially, Ruby did not respond to his inquiries, but eventually she did.

Ruby informed John that she had indeed assisted Stallings, but she did not anticipate him posing a threat to John. She explained that the higher-ups in their spy organization were against John locating Olivia and that she was simply following their directives. Ruby urged John to cease his search for the case.

5. Is John Sugar an Alien?

After speaking with Ruby, John retrieves an injection and some liquid from her place and sneaks back to the bathroom, quickly closing the door behind him.

The episode concludes with a shocking revelation as he injects himself on his neck and undergoes a startling transformation, turning completely blue to resemble an alien or an extraterrestrial creature.

Throughout the episodes, there have been subtle indications implying that John is not of Earthly origin and has acquired a great deal of his understanding of the world through movies.

In addition, he has brought up the existence of a secret; however, due to his past episodes of experiencing hallucinations, it is uncertain if his transformation into what seems to be an alien creature is genuine or simply another hallucination.
