Several crucial filming locations in New Orleans were utilized in Bryan Cranston’s series Your Honor, enhancing the interconnected plotlines of the show.
Cranston made a comeback to a prominent television role in Your Honor, a legal drama in which he portrays Michael Desiato, a judge who is forced to confront the consequences of his past actions and involvement in his son’s devastating hit-and-run.

The Lower Ninth Ward plays a vital role in the cultural identity of New Orleans due to its status as the city’s largest district.
One of the city’s most devastated areas after the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, it has a long history of enduring significant damage.
Hence, it is not by chance that Your Honor chose this specific location for Adam’s notorious hit-and-run incident. The Joneses’ residence in the Lower Ninth Ward is frequently featured in the series, making it a significant area to revisit.
Garden District — New Orleans, Louisiana
The Desiato Home is located in The Garden District.
While the Lower Ninth Ward may be considered the most crucial area of New Orleans depicted in Your Honor, Michael and his son Adam actually reside in the Garden District. The interior shots of the Desiato household were captured at a private residence in the Garden District.
The Garden District is aptly named, bustling with flowers and energy. It also serves as a representation of the struggles and devastation faced in the Lower Ninth Ward, as depicted in the series.
While so many in his city struggle, Michael has been living a life of luxury in the Garden District.
4. Commander’s Palace: A Must-Visit Restaurant in New Orleans, Louisiana

Within Your Honor, numerous restaurants play significant roles throughout the series. One of these establishments is Commander’s Palace, which is a charming jazz brunch destination located in the Garden District.
In Your Honor season 1, episode 8, the Desiato family is seen dining at Commander’s Palace to celebrate Adam at a dinner specifically intended for him.
5. Bourbon Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana
The Baxter House also serves as The Bourbon Orleans Hotel.
The Bourbon Orleans Hotel, where mobster Jimmy Baxter conducts his criminal activities, serves as the setting for Your Honor’s most pivotal scenes. This development proves to be a crucial turning point in the show.

6. The Rib Room – New Orleans, Louisiana
The Rib Room is a dining area located inside The Baxter House Restaurant.
Although it is not explicitly mentioned, the Baxter House did include an indoor dining scene, which was filmed at a separate location known as The Rib Room.
The Rib Room is located at the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel in the French Quarter on St. Louis Street, approximately three blocks from the Bourbon Orleans Hotel.

The American drama television series “Your Honor”features Bryan Cranston and is based on the Israeli TV series “Kvodo”. It first aired on Showtime on December 6, 2020, and concluded on March 19, 2023.
Although initially planned as a miniseries, the show was renewed for a second season in August 2021. The season is set to premiere on January 15, 2023. However, reports in July 2022 revealed that this second season will be the show’s final season.
The show centers around a young man who is the son of a well-known judge in New Orleans. One night, he unintentionally hits and kills another teenager while driving. The judge initially advises him to confess to the authorities, but has a change of heart upon discovering that the victim was the son of a powerful mafia boss. The judge’s efforts to cover up the incident ultimately result in devastating outcomes.
