Fallout 4’s Powerful Baseball Launcher and Its Hilarious Ragdoll Effects

The latest update for Fallout 4 includes a brand new weapon, the baseball launcher, which showcases the game’s ragdoll physics through its absurd effects.

Despite being available on both new-gen consoles and PC, Fallout 4’s latest update provided performance and graphics enhancements, as well as new content offerings, for all platforms.

The Makeshift Weapon Pack is a notable addition that transforms ordinary objects into powerful firearms. This allows players to cause chaos in the barren landscape with weapons such as baseball launchers, nail guns, and even piggy banks.

A video showcasing gameplay was shared by ItsJabo, a content creator dedicated to Fallout. The video specifically showcases the chaos that can result from using the baseball launcher. It demonstrates how the weapon, powered by baseballs, can send enemies flying through the air when fired using VATS.

What adds to the hilarity is the fact that Fallout 4’s ragdoll physics caused the targeted enemy to bounce around the room at incredibly high speeds. In the clip, ItsJabo jokingly exclaimed, “This is the greatest update ever… forget using explosives, we’re playing baseball now!”

It is uncertain whether this is a demonstration of the desired functionality of Fallout 4’s new weapon. While the patch addressed various bugs, it also came with several problems. It remains unclear if the amusing effects of the baseball launcher are considered one of these issues. Bethesda has not yet provided clarification on the matter.

Noteworthy is the inclusion of free Creation Club content and the Halloween Workshop in the update. The additions to the Creation Club include Enclave Weapon skins, a Tesla Cannon, and various other items. Additionally, the Halloween Workshop features a scary party with new props.
