Fans Begin Power Scaling for Boruto vs. Sarada Ahead of Two Blue Vortex Chapter 10’s Release

With the upcoming release of chapter 10 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, the manga series has unveiled a sneak peek preview, sparking a debate among fans about the power scaling between Boruto and Sarada.

Despite Boruto fans generally believing that the series’ main character was the most powerful shinobi currently, their perspective shifted after seeing a new sneak peek preview illustration featuring Sarada and Hidari. This caused fans to reconsider their previous stance.

After returning to Hidden Leaf Village to battle the God Trees in the previous chapter, Boruto was unexpectedly interrupted by Kawaki. Meanwhile, Sarada and Sumire were seen making their way towards the location of the God Trees.

Why have fans begun the power scaling war between Boruto and Sarada?

“The release date for chapter 10 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has been set for Tuesday, May 21, 2024. However, a sneak peek preview illustration from the upcoming chapter was released by the manga series a week prior to its official release.”

In the preview, God Tree Hidari can be seen attacking his target, Sarada Uchiha. The illustration foreshadows a confrontation between Sarada and the God Tree, as she takes after her father, Sasuke Uchiha, in the next chapter.

Despite the God Tree seemingly attacking her from behind, fans were quick to point out how Sarada effortlessly evaded Hidari’s Chidori. This sparked discussions among fans about the power balance between Boruto and Sarada, with some suggesting that Sarada may have superior speed as Boruto was unable to dodge Hidari’s attack.

However, instead of Hidari’s attack, fans witnessed the shinobi using his Rasengan to counter it. This eventually sparked the Boruto vs. Sarada power scaling battle on X.

How Fans Responded to the Comparison of Speed Between Boruto and Sarada

Immediately following the initial author’s argument in the post “Boruto vs. Sarada,”they attempted to clarify their point to the audience. @borutoconspirer did not claim that Boruto was superior to Sarada in strength. Rather, their intention was to highlight Sarada’s swiftness compared to Boruto.

Therefore, the debate between Boruto and Sarada held some validity. While Minato Namikaze may have been quicker than Hashirama Senju, he was not nearly as powerful as the first Hokage.

Despite this, most fans were not in agreement with the power scaling.

“Bruh boruto just dodged Hidari’s blade and he quickly nullified his Chidori too,”one fan said.

However, some fans held the belief that the power scaling in the series was inconsistent. This was due to the fact that Sarada, who only possessed a three-tomoe sharingan, was able to evade an attack from a clone of Sasuke Uchiha, widely considered to be one of the greatest users of the Chidori technique.

“How can she dodge a sneak attack from a ten tails which is a replica of Sasuke while only using her Sharingan, not even a mangekyo, another fan added.

Some fans pointed out to the original creator of the post that Sarada had used Sharingan during the event. This suggests that she may not actually be faster than Boruto, but rather received assistance from her dojutsu in making a swift decision.

“Bro forgot what the sharingan does,”another said.
