On April 30, the first four episodes of “Begins ≠ Youth,”a K-drama series based on BTS’s album series “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life”(also referred to as “Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa”or “HYYH”), were released.
Additionally, episodes 5 to 8 will be released on May 7 and episodes 9 to 12 will be released on May 14.
Unlike the majority of K-dramas that are typically broadcasted on television networks or popular OTT platforms like Netflix, “Begins ≠ Youth” is exclusively released on Xclusive. This marks the first drama series to premiere on this platform.
In reality, fans were perplexed by Hybe’s plans for the release of “Begins ≠ Youth”on Xclusive. They expressed their disapproval by likening the platform to a “pyramid scheme”and voicing concerns about the high cost of the series.
Despite initially receiving limited attention upon its official release, those who decided to give Xclusive’s “Begins ≠ Youth”a chance were pleasantly surprised by its quality. Fans have praised the K-drama for its strong cast and well-crafted plot.
Despite being released on Xclusive, a questionable platform, the K-drama failed to attract much attention and was inaccessible to most viewers.
“A fan expressed disappointment about the situation, stating that HYBE had fumbled. Others also saw the lack of release for “Begins ≠ Youth”on platforms like Netflix and Disney+ as HYBE’s biggest mistake.”
I feel like hybe fumbled so bad for not putting BEGINS ≠ YOUTH drama in a streaming site like netflix for the general public bcs; 1) they bagged good actors and 2) the plot is interesting and very well-executed. What a shame it’s not for the world to watch. pic.twitter.com/KPKIyn9KJn
