On May 3, Son Seung-hee, the director of the music video for (G)I-DLE’s second full-length album’s title track “Super Lady”, made a post on their social media account. The director specifically claimed that another group had plagiarized the “Cruella set”from the “Super Lady”music video.

“The director emphasized that it is acceptable to draw inspiration from other creators, as they themselves have done from other great works. However, it should be noted that this is not merely a reference, but a copy.”
