In a recent clash of internet personalities, FaZe co-founder Ricky Banks has publicly labeled fellow influencer Jack Doherty as the “worst streamer of all time.”This assertion has ignited a vigorous feud between the two, capturing the attention of their fanbases.
On December 18, in a segment for Complex, Banks joined with notable streamer Plaqueboymax to discuss their picks for the best and worst influencers in an engaging sixteen-minute video.
Banks’ controversial nomination of Jack Doherty as the worst streamer has since escalated tensions online, with Plaqueboymax concurring with the harsh assessment. “It’s easily Jack Doherty,” Banks stated candidly. “Jack’s a piece of sh*t. Everybody knows it, obviously.”
In response, Plaqueboymax added, “I’ll probably go Jack Doherty, too. But at the end of the day though, the pics he took after the crash were fire, to be honest,” referencing Doherty’s notorious car accident.

Plaqueboymax was alluding to an incident in October 2024 when Doherty lost control of his $200,000 McLaren, resulting in a crash that quickly went viral. This event even caught the attention of mainstream media, leading to a parody on Saturday Night Live.
As a result of the crash, Doherty faced a permanent ban from the Kick streaming platform, which has been tightening its policies against hazardous broadcasting activities.

Shortly after Banks’ remarks, Doherty retaliated via a post on X, targeting Banks’ financial situation. He provocatively questioned, “I wonder how much Banks paid in taxes last year. I know bro makes NO money these days. I don’t know why he even has my name in his mouth.”

In what has become a blistering exchange, Banks swiftly responded by accusing Doherty of engaging in unethical practices like viewbotting and purportedly manipulating a ‘memecoin’ cryptocurrency. “I simply bought mog at $12M and cleared your lifetime earnings in a single trade,” Banks tweeted, adding, “You buy watches, I buy companies.”
Ricky Banks is well-known for his outspoken nature, especially in the gaming community. Recently, he criticized actress Grace Van Dien during the 2024 Streamer Awards after she made comments regarding her previous association with FaZe, which led to her retreat from social media.
