FaZe Clan Ends Epic Month-Long Twitch Subathon, Leaving Banks Heartbroken

FaZe CEO Ricky Banks became emotional during a heartfelt speech as FaZe Clan concluded its month-long Twitch subathon.

Banks revitalized the iconic content organization in April 2024, resulting in the departure of several members from FaZe Clan.

He streamlined the group to just over a dozen content creators before welcoming four new Twitch streamers: Jason, Silky, Lacy, and Max.

The content creators united for a month-long Twitch subathon in September 2024, with nearly all members achieving record-breaking viewer and subscriber counts.

FaZe Banks reclaimed ownership of the organization in early 2024.

At the conclusion of the subathon, FaZe hosted an award ceremony where Banks delivered an emotional speech expressing gratitude to the members of the organization, which left him in tears.

“It can’t be understated how crazy this whole ride has been and you guys have just been a part of one chapter of it. I really do hope that y’all will be a part of it for the rest of it,” he shared. “You guys have absolutely changed this whole brand.”

Banks elaborated on his struggles, noting that he hit “rock bottom” before regaining ownership of FaZe Clan in early 2024. He faced a breakup and the loss of his father during that difficult time.

“This FaZe sh*t was his favorite ever… he would talk about it endlessly. I would be so ashamed of what was going on in the background. I just love you guys so much. Thank you for getting it back to where it is. I’m so proud of this,” he expressed.

Following the livestream, Banks shared a celebratory post on X acknowledging the conclusion of their subathon, which rapidly gained traction among fans.

“They called me dumb. They said I ruined FaZe. Now their mics are on mute. Really quiet. GG’s in the f**king chat,” he stated.

The month-long subathon was filled with memorable moments across all of FaZe creators’ channels. Jasontheween gained significant attention on social media for his interviews with internet personalities Hasan and Ludwig.

In another entertaining moment, Max, Lacy, and Ronaldo featured a Kanye West impersonator on their stream in early September, humorously using him to get free McDonald’s ice cream.
