Ahead of the release of Part 2 of Yellowstone Season 5, viewers of the Taylor Sheridan Western are worried that a particular character may meet their demise, and their displeasure is evident.
The Dutton ranch’s journey will come to an end in the final season of Yellowstone. Even though Kevin Costner will not be appearing in the last episodes, the other characters are still at risk.
It is widely believed that the next person to be targeted by the Grim Reaper will be Jamie Dutton, who is known for his deceitful behavior and is often the source of controversy on the Western show. Jamie, the adopted son of John, consistently proves to be the most polarizing character.
Despite this, there are still some who are not pleased with the thought of his character being killed off. As expressed by a user on Reddit, “I am worried about Jamie’s fate. Based on the trajectory of the show’s ending, I believe he will either meet his demise or become the Governor and legally protect the ranch from all its dangers, finally earning Beth’s approval as a brother.”

“I believe that a feel-good ending would be the most fitting conclusion for this show, where the characters are spared from having to visit the train station. Despite Jamie being disliked by some viewers, I also acknowledge that many are rooting for an “Avengers assemble”moment for the family’s finale, especially if John is indeed deceased.”
It appeared that others shared the same sentiment. They not only believed that Jamie’s death would be unjust, but also that it would be the second worst outcome – tedious.
“One commenter remarked, ‘Would killing Jamie be that predictable?’ They continued, ‘It feels like every season he’s mistreated and belittled by Beth.’”
“According to another individual, if they were in Jamie’s shoes, they would quickly gather their son and essential items like clothes and baby supplies, get a new cellphone, car, and laptop, change their name, and have access to cash.”
One person even went to the extent of stating: “Although he may have been portrayed as weak and subservient throughout most of the series, he still possesses a strong sense of integrity and a desire to handle situations rationally. Jamie has been on the losing end for far too long. It’s time for him to emerge victorious, as he truly deserves it.”
Regrettably, the Dutton brother appears to have the odds stacked against him. Beth has been fervently wishing for his downfall ever since he betrayed her as a teenager, and now he has disclosed his knowledge about the Train Station.
He poses a danger to the rest of the family, earning him the title of their most pressing threat to date. (But as always, the Duttons have their own methods of eliminating threats.)
The release date for Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 is set for November 10, 2024.
